Seems to work with M1 MacBook Pro for short flashes

Update: I originally said it works with M1 MacBook Pro. This is only partially true, and using it with the M1 could damage your Mac. There are USB-C hubs that will literally blow up the board in your Mac when using power, unless you're running macOS version 11.2.2+. The hub gets very hot and the Mac automatically ejects any hard drives connected to it. I've also noticed that the USB 3 ports are much slower than normal even before they get warm. Small technology with a big impact

Since my new laptop only uses USB 3.0 technology, I needed a quick fix. Through some research I came across these docking stations. With the amount of power I need for all my connected devices, I needed to get the best bang for my buck and I focused on the Keymox USB-C laptop dock. As you can see from the picture I have personally used all the slots in the Keymox USB-C laptop dock and am impressed with how easy it is to use and compatible with multiple computers and laptops as I have tried them

Poor quality universal hub

The fixed USB-C cable is so short that when it's set up your laptop dangles instead of lying on the table. All my laptops are raised to eye level for ergonomic reasons. Why wouldn't a manufacturer consider this use case for a laptop docking station? The cable is 7 inches long and my laptop is raised 10 inches. It heats up when connected to the mains, even if it is not used for a long time. It seems to be doing something wasteful internally, wasting power as heat. This waste of electricity makes

If you've ever used one of these, you'll quickly discover that bigger is better. Most of us have a keyboard or mouse dongle, USB if you're lucky. Then you have to connect or charge things, so you quickly run out of USB ports. Or you have a dumb cross-shaped USB flash drive that can't have anything next to it, so you can't plug anything into any of your USB ports. As said, the more the better. The presence of the latest USB 3.0 technology also helps. Docks of this type work on both Macs and PCs.

Works with work and home laptops no sound

Purchased to replace a dead docking station and I am pleased to report that it works as expected. My work Dell is very picky, but it recognized, provides power and works with my peripherals and two monitors. Previous reviews have mentioned VGA, but this latest version has dual HDMIs, which I agree with. All ports work and Dell and Acer computers are powered.
