Save tons of money with these solenoids.

Installed in my 2007 BMW 328i in about 20 minutes. One of the easiest jobs ever, and you'll save $1,100 in labor costs according to the Fremont BMW offer. They asked for $1,250 for this simple job. Thanks to u-tube for the video, the car drives great, no more problems!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Do not waste your money

I bought three of these Dorman units and each time after a few hundred km errors begin Uncontrolled cold start. I returned all three units I bought within a month of trying to test my tail with check engine lights. Bit the bullet and bought an OEM from BMW. My check engine light never came on again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

  • There are nuances

Trust Your Gut - Replacement Parts

Purchased to replace a failed solenoid. Worked fine for a couple of hours, then accelerated onto the freeway and drove about twenty miles and I turned off. Then I feel like my engine completely forgets what idle is and eventually dies. I really liked the price, but I would recommend buying either an aftermarket refurbished or comparable quality solenoid to the OEM, which is not the case.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Some Issues

Probably not an acceptable replacement for a car with an N52 engine

Purchased to replace the original vanos solenoid valve. The car gave an intake camshaft trouble code and replaced the intake and exhaust valve solenoids. During the test drive the car does not run smoothly at any speed. Instead, I followed the specified cleaning procedure for the stock solenoids and reinstalled the stock solenoids in the motor. The code has not yet been returned.

Costs money. in Carburetors & Parts

I have used this brand on other cars but never on my 335i. Didn't want to pay the OEM price. That's why I ordered these. Car no longer goes into LIMP mode after dragging. I got exhaust and intake VANOS sensor codes every time I drove, so I replaced both and the codes haven't come back yet. Very nicely packaged, in vacuum. I will update when I go. I've ridden it about 600km so far. (10/30/19)

  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in white

I bought a used BMW X5 and this is IMPORTANT as many oil change shops can ruin you. The oil filter cover insert may have been accidentally removed at the car's last oil service because they don't know what they are doing! If this insert is not installed, the engine is supplied with unfiltered engine oil, which can clog or damage the VANOS magnets. My dealer told me at least 16 cars had similar problems because they switched to this quick oil change. puts! My original solenoids were clogged and…

An excellent alternative to OEM

I ordered these for my 2008 BMW 328xi because I needed new ones after having a terrible shaking at idle after tuning, so I cleaned my old ones and the problem went away. I wanted to replace them as these were the ones that arrived on my car it was new. So I thought since they are old it is better to replace them. They looked just like the OEMs I originally had. I would also advise you to change them yourself instead of taking them to a shop. One next to me wanted over $500 and I found them a…

Good temporary solution

I won't lie, the rumor of 1/4 price solenoids is really exciting and disturbing at the same time. I thought as this is a major supply and I needed to find replacements for my BMW e90 solenoids (never changed) I thought "I might as well use this and see how long I can last". just a couple of solenoids that actually worked without immediately going into limp mode, or didn't work at all. And for a while my car actually ran better than before! Yes, and the oil on the car was changed as recommended…
