Dripping slowly on faucet parts

A check valve is installed and it is leaking. This is a slow decline. The whole point of a check valve is to completely stop water flow and this product does not completely stop water flow.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Uncertain

The crucial part is missing. on rough plumbing

I ordered two of these faucets but they are expensive. One of the valves failed to shut off the water and I only recently found out why - this valve didn't have a steel ball to control the flow of water. It couldn't fall out, so it had to come from the factory without that part. Dissatisfied.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • no power

Actual 1/2 " fitting for faucet parts

Dram was the only manufacturer I found that actually lists the 1/2" fitting size for their valve. Even Underhill, whose port is a whopping 9/16 inch, doesn't state the size despite boasting legally. Why is it so difficult to list the key features of your product? pen works fine. Only took off one star because it was so damn expensive.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Some issues

Recently this product became scrap

Have been buying for years. Currently this purchase is falling apart like 3 others I've bought over the past few years. The ball bearing and its white ring simply fall off within a few months and cannot be repaired. There seems to be (on the one I got my hands on) a SMALL brass screw that probably holds it in place. However, the screw is so small that it must have disappeared when the others fell on the grass. A PIECE OF EXPENSIVE junk! I will try other brands. Very bad. They worked well whenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Non Heavy Check Valve - Only Light Duty Timeout

After less than 6 months of use, the valve started to leak. I contacted Dramm customer service to inquire about the lifetime warranty and was told that although they will send a repair kit the valve is not intended to be "as a permanent shut off valve for an extended period of time" or " to be used as "a shut-off valve". valves. "off" for a water source that stays on." Had this restricted and severely restricted operation been listed in the product description, I would never have purchased this

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great check valve

Finally a check valve well made. I've been using several of these for a year and am very happy with the valve. A few things to watch out for: - When removing the valve from the end of the hose, be careful not to fall out or lose the parts inside. The black rubber washer tends to stick to the end of the hose and is the only thing holding the white valve ball seat and the valve ball itself in place. I had to look for it more than once - the lever sticks out a little and can get caught. I'm usedโ€ฆ

  • Good Stuff
Cons

heavy brass, made in the USA but apparently not quality checked.

It's expensive and I got it because of the DRAM name. There are TWO ball valves and ONE sprocket. Every part had a problem.* A valve did not open fully. DRAMM brags about how wide the opening is, but it beats that. Of course it's not much, but then *WHAT* it cost a lot. Minus 0.5 stars.* Another valve ball fell out. It can be reassembled, but when it falls apart so quickly (< 1 month) then I don't count on its reliability. Minus 1 star.* T-piece has thread problems. Sounds like a castingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Zero

The best valve lasts forever. Updated

The best valves I've had in decades and the most I bought almost 25 years ago are still in use today. Just needed one more. great product Update Summer 2021: Many Chinese companies have copied the design of this valve. But these are bad copies, they have a much smaller hole inside and only give half the flow. I had one of my US made Dramm valves that I've had for about 20 years and it had a mysterious hole in the brass body. . Do not know how. I contacted Drumm, they promptly sent new and freeโ€ฆ
