Even better than I expected

I bought this to try out the crown bar. I saw a tutorial video on YouTube and the guy used it. It eats through wood like those cartoon termites! Corner connections could be loosened quickly and easily.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Very useful skirting wheel

I use these in my Dremel tool for cutting skirting and trim instead of a copy saw. It does its job well, offering good control and quality of cut on the lateral joints. They also seem to last a long time. But just in case I bought a spare.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Includes negative

I've never been good at cutting hardwood with a saw

Bought to be able to cut hardwood. crown and base. I've never been good at cutting hardwood with a saw. This little wheel did its job well. Like he was made for the job. The process is a little slow, but it was fun to use. I highly recommend it. I haven't tried it on conifers and MDF. I bet it could eat them.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not sure

Great, but I've only used it for one job so far.

Very aggressive stock removal. I mainly used it on MDF to "copy" the crown molding. Very fast and the carbide holds very well. Dremel bits can hit or miss, and can sometimes be too slow or inefficient - nonetheless, this is a must-have bit. You'll be glad you have it one day, even if you don't need it at the moment. (bought two).

BUY IT! for power tool parts and accessories

Great product! I will buy again and again! Update: I was told upon original purchase that it is almost impossible to burn this wheel on ANY density or type of wood. On my second use this disc not only burned out but also lost some of the ON YELLOW PINE carbide abrasive! Checked speed and direction on packaging and Dremel home page, both were correct. contacted Dremel support, explained the situation and sent photos to the representative. He assured me it must be a defective unit as no other…

  • Tough finish

  • Nothing here

Treat shapes fast!

Allows the cap to be shortened quickly. I'm pretty clumsy with a gang saw, and when I saw an online demo of the technique with this tool, I ordered something (not available in stores near me) from Revain. I still cut most of the material with a saw, but I use a shape wheel to remove down to the cut line. Fast, clean and no blade bucking at awkward angles. The carbide teeth are easily suitable for hardwoods and 100-year-old spruce. You may want to wear a respirator or dust mask as the tool…

  • Easy to use

A good forming tool is cutting discs

I used this tool as a forming tool on my Dremel for casting caps. It worked really well when I put my thumb on my left hand on top of the dremel to guide and stabilize the tool. I quickly had the exact line on the molding. It's dusty since the cut is sawdust, but it's very fast and doesn't require much skill to get a good cut like a coping saw does. It is not clear from the description that this tool has a curved surface when the center screw is depressed. The cut surface is at the top. Tool…
