I am very happy with this stuff I bought to deaden the sound of some closet doors closing. The adhesive looks good and the backing peels off easily. There are a million uses for this material. (Just so you know, the surface is very thin, matte sponge texture. It's just a foam layer, no leather cover.)

There was an awful clicking sound as my footpegs on the truck retracted to the closed position. I used this foam to even out the "resting point" so my footpegs now fold and sit on this foam instead of metal to metal contact. The movement is smoother and the clicks are gone. I gave it 5 stars for durability but the foam was just applied so I'm hoping for the best.

This is a very thin neoprene based stick, ideal for lined drawers that you don't want to slide in, not at all suitable for appliances as it can tear. I used it for the top of a computer cart with adjustable wheels to keep my speakers from sliding off. It also works great as a permanent mouse pad. I have also used it to create prints. I cut out shapes to attach to a rolling pin to draw repeats on paper or fabric to create my own designs.

I don't know what people usually use this for but I bought this to fit on the outside of the vent covers that go underground to keep cold air out in the winter. . UPDATE: 4/18/21 So quick update, I noticed after about a week of using this mouse that the foam started to crack where I was leaning on the mouse. If you plan on using it on something that rubs a lot, you'll need something to protect the foam from wear and tear. If I were to keep the mouse I would use a clear coat like the Flex Seal Clear Coat or the Through the Roof Clear Coat.
