I bought 3 sizes to fit 3 different sized kennels. They fit well in my 36" and 42" Kong kennels. They also fit nicely in my 48" Great Choice kennel. I love that they have a vent grille/window in the back to improve airflow. The XL size paw print case is perfect for my 48 inch kennel. I like the feel of the material. It's not cheap and feels thick enough to hold in the warmth my dog needs on cold winter nights. To clarify. The "ends" are the narrow sides of the kennel and the "sides" are the wider sides. The mesh window is located at the END of the lid on the flap that can be opened and rolled up for the END door. The material is thick, I haven't tested the waterproofing yet, personally I don't expect it to be needed, but I think it will ward off a spill, probably won't resist Don't get the right soak.
