Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) (also known as Fiber Reinforced Polymer or Fiber Reinforced Plastic) It works! Added to my S2000 FRP Mugen Hardtop Quiet and most importantly heat reducing! I bought 1/2 because I wanted to reduce the heat from the plastic sheet as much as possible. The S2k is already loud, but I wanted to keep the heat down on those darn hot summer days. I don't even want to drive because the heat builds up in the car.

Does not absorb liquid. Solid and meaningful.

I installed this product on my firewall in addition to some Dynamat Extremes. This affects the heat and tone of my exhaust even more than the Dynamat Extreme which I was impressed with as the Dynamat Extreme alone makes a huge difference. I had to replace the heater core, so I installed it at the same time. for more thermal insulation. I accidentally spilled some radiator fluid on the Dynaliner when installing the heater core and it doesn't absorb fluid like they claim. It's thick and quite…

Outstanding product. Just take your time and install it properly.

I used 6 of these on a new motorhome in combination with dynamat panels and a "dog kennel" foil top. RVs are notoriously poorly soundproofed. This is the second RV I've used it on and it makes a significant difference. It takes time to reach all areas that need isolation. I start with a "dog kennel" with a hood liner, then Dynamat and Dynaliner on the wheel wells. Move along the firewall and stairwell. To properly install on the F53 chassis, the rear twins must be removed. No more yelling to…

Works great with Ford chassis based vans

I have had 2 RVs based on Ford E450 chassis with V10 petrol engine. The engine hut on both of these motorhomes came factory fitted with a thin layer of sound and heat insulation material and in both cases the hut itself and the adjacent floor area became uncomfortably warm. This was particularly noticeable on the passenger side. I used Dynaliner alone after removing the factory material and cleaning the surface. The contoured kennel made it difficult to apply cleanly and seamlessly, so I just…

Remodel your interior? Spend some and install this for a cool, smooth ride!

, I was repairing a detachable hard top for a 1984 Mercedes SL and needed foam under the cover. You can pick up cheap foam anywhere, but it absorbs water, isn't as good at heat/cold retention, and doesn't have a self-adhesive backing. I've used Dynamat Extreme and Dynaliner on the decking and found that it reduces heat and noise tremendously so I decided to do the same on the roof. After sanding and repainting the hardtop, I cleaned the inside top cut and applied Dynamat Extreme with a Dynamat…

Original, closed cell, value

I have an old diesel truck and it is very noisy. I carefully researched a range of hood food products and decided to stick with the big Dynamat brand. The hardware store has cheaper solutions if you just need some foam padding, but if you want the best, buy this. In general, the quality classes go (from best to worst): Aviation, Marine, Automotive, Consumer/Home. This stuff is made for cars and will outperform almost any home use product like loft foam etc. I contacted Dynamat and they don't…
