Good response and reliable braking feel.

Good response and solid brake feel in combination with my stainless steel brake hoses, but they generate a lot more brake dust than factory pads.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High price

I feel better brakes for S2000

I take the second set. For the price there is no better brake for the S2000 in my opinion. I torture them in Dragon Tail and they never go away. I'm really impressed with it.

THE BEST PADS! Fits replacement parts

Fantastic pads! If you've never used EBC pads before, you're missing out. I used to have green pads and they are great for regular use, but I put them on a 2000 AP1 S2000 for autocross. Great cold initial bite and crazy when the pads get warm/hot. They're a little dusty, more so than your typical OEM pads, but there's always a trade-off for this kind of performance. Buy it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Upgrades available

These pads are perfect for those new to HPDE trackdays

These pads are perfect for those new to HPDE trackdays. They are cost effective and offer OEM-like pads with no fading. I've only been at the track for 3 weekends and used EBC yellow each time. It took me until the last session of my third weekend to notice any fading. I find myself ready for more aggressive rubbers like Carbotechs. These pads last me about 1.5 weekends. that's about 6 hours driving time.

Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent stopping power UPDATE

Yellowstuff brake pads worked great. I used them for 2 full track days. They lasted with a slight disappearance of the brakes. The downside is that they are dusty. Stopping power was much better than stock, value for money. I still have over 50% of the pad left. UPDATE After a few more days of track I will never buy an EBC again. They're only good for beginners, but you'll move on to something else. Now I use Carbotech pads and they are 10x better than EBC. EBC melt and disappear. It all…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Quality

Pads are crumbling due to heat - No pads

I have followed the break-in and burn-in procedures for these EBC pads but on my Honda S2000 the pads felt "soft" after breaking in. It only took a few laps of the track to overheat and ruin the pads. I had to brake carefully for the rest of the track day. I pulled out the pads and only about 50% of the pads are in contact with the rotors, the rest of the pad surface is crumbling. No wonder they feel very "soft". Good, fresh, high-temperature brake fluid, but bad brake pads reduce braking…

  • Delivery was very quick

S2000 - not much better than AP2 pads

For road S2000's these pads are not much better in terms of bite and feel compared to OEM AP2 pads. I bought them hoping for a better bite but I was disappointed. Now I have over 1,000 local miles (not freeway miles), I drove it twice before coming to this conclusion. For 1. Same bite as AP2 OEM pads (outdoors at least)2. Mostly quiet, not much noise when stacked properly. Cons: 1. Same bite as AP2 OEM (outdoors at least), no improvement.2. Advertised as dust similar to OEM pads, dammit. 4…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
