Disappointment is the best in water coolers and filters

Maybe my fault. I have other Zero Water products and expected the same level of performance, so I quickly bought this item. This product does NOT filter particles in the water. It doesn't even filter 100% chlorine. Removes 50% chlorine. For comparison. With Eco filter: TDS rating of 207. Without: 218. Also, the plastic top feels cheap and it's difficult to maneuver the lid to insert the filter. This is a product I really regret spending money on. You can drink water from the tap with the same…

Finally a jug that doesn't drip

I like this jug because I was able to remove the valve on the spout. The other one I had wasn't an option so I used to spill a lot on the first few fills when it was full. It's also faster to fill, much easier to fill and the filters last much longer. Each filter shall be rated at 120 gallons. As it is a 3 liter container this means 160 refills or 6 months. Since I probably won't be able to tell a difference in taste after 6 months, I will most likely see almost all 160 fillings in one jug…

Cheap and works great!

I've always used Brita water filters but they can be a bit pricey. I was excited to try this without the plastic cartridge. It's so cool that the cartridge is built into the top of the filter, which is very convenient. I did a little research and the replacement filters are pretty reasonable. I have not noticed any difference between this filter and my Brita water filter. The water tastes pretty good, it removes chlorine and odor. The design of the filter is very ergonomic and easy to use. I…

Lasts longer: Kanne water filter

I have used a regular jug with a Zero water filter for many years. There are many differences to this EcoFilter. This eco-filter lasts much longer than a conventional filter. A regular filter will acidify the water over time, but it isn't because it's just a carbon filter. As a result, fewer substances are removed from the water, but unpleasant tastes and odors are well removed. Drinking water from this filter is still tastier than tap water. That's a good compromise. It looks like there is no…

Filtered water jug

I love filtering my sink water. I live in Los Angeles, California where most of the water is fairly clean and safe to drink. I've been using this water jug for about two months and I share my thoughts on this article with you. The filter helps make tap water taste much better than if you were drinking unfiltered water. I like the size of the jug, it's a lot bigger than my older one. It's easy to clean and set up. I also like that the lid doesn't come off when pouring water like it did on my old

Pros
  • Always Loved
Cons
  • No insurance

I've always wondered how harmless those heavy plastic water filters are. I'll throw them in the recycling of course, but I'm not entirely sure. This new pitcher uses a much smaller filter. It is very light and with minimal packaging. All well and good, but what does water taste like? So far the taste is great. I live in a small town and the water quality isn't perfect. So filtering is a must. This pitcher and filter do a great job of providing fresh, cold water that tastes great. Finally how…

Delicious water, unique and simple design

City water in my area is usually pretty good, so a carbon filter is pretty much all I need for drinking water. I used a polyurethane filter dispenser and when I saw this new ZeroWater pitcher with a charcoal filter and no plastic cartridge, I thought it was a great idea! In fact, the "cartridge" is built into the top of the filter, so you just take the filter out after it's used up and put in a new one. From what I've seen, Eco replacement filters are around $15 for 2 packs. I did a taste and…
