I like this jug because I was able to remove the valve on the spout. The other one I had wasn't an option so I used to spill a lot on the first few fills when it was full. It's also faster to fill, much easier to fill and the filters last much longer. Each filter shall be rated at 120 gallons. As it is a 3 liter container this means 160 refills or 6 months.
