This is one of those fancy spherical air filters designed by Ford. This brand seems to be as good as any other brand. I don't know what the properties of micron filtration are. they don't like to mention it. Only words to say how well they filter. The price was cheap.

I just got my 2001 Ford Expedition and it needed a new air filter and I have ordered it. The oil change location required 10pm for their filter. Oh! I live in a lot of plum mud, so changing the air filter 2 or 3 times a year is nothing new to me. I will be ordering 2 more very soon.

It's hard to tell if the air filter is good or not because when you put it in it gets dirty and then you take it out and throw it away. The only way you can really judge it is if it fits the place where it looks good. I just installed it and will let you know and I will put 25,000 miles on it if it works.

just fitted this to my ford 03 expedition so will update after the next filter change. However, I was okay with the quality of the materials. I have used many brands from cheap to high end brands. I would put it in the middle. the quality looked good. comes in a plastic wrap with added cone protection to prevent damage to the filter media which looked fine. The car drives well, so far I can't find any faults. Binding looks good. fits perfectly

I can't say I see a significant difference between this one and the fram it replaced, but regularly pulling things out of my cars just to throw them away makes me a curmudgeon. Air filters in particular are an issue as we are in a high desert with high winds and tend to pick up a lot of dust fairly quickly. I usually give them a syringe with an air compressor nozzle to clean them out and go a few more miles. I have a lot of power gear on acres and they all have some sort of pre-filter, so the…
