🔧 8522 Complete Power Steering Gear Box Rebuild Kit Review

Comes with everything you need for a Chevy box. I used this kit on a scout box and you need another 2020 Koyo gearbox mount.

Claimed to fit your car (Camaro 71) according to Revain search engine but found it to be the wrong kit Kit fits my car 7858 Good packaging

The first part I went to fit was the wrong size so I'm guessing they either sent me the wrong kit or their vehicle locator gave me the wrong one. I will edit the review until it works solves my problem

This kit was used to rebuild a Grand Cherokee steering gear. There are several videos showing how to recover. This kit removes all gear backlash. The hardest part was removing the bipod lever.

I rebuilt the power steering gear box on a '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited using this kit. The recovery was not an easy task, but my result was excellent. Steering column works like new, no leaks! There are some helpful (but not very detailed) recovery videos on Youtube if you decide to try your hand at recovery.

The tolerances on the product are so tight that all the washers have come loose, one loosened enough that I couldn't fit the power steering gear. general. I would not recommend this product and would recommend purchasing a remanufactured part instead. It would have saved me hours at first, but I ended up wasting my time and money on this product first

Specifications say Jeep CJ7 fits 79-1986. The small bearing ring was not big enough and just fell through the space it had to be driven into. The hard plastic shims aren't as thick as the ones I took off and after tapping, the clearance between the last steel shim and the locking pin was ridiculous.
