Edelmann 8776 Power Steering Major Review

Automotive enthusiasts, look elsewhere for performance car parts. After I put it to the test, this steering system failed to deliver a smooth ride. It shook and rattled on every turn, and the installation process was an absolute nightmare. The only positive was the potentially affordable price tag. However, the cons heavily outweigh any potential savings. Stay away from this product if you value the safety of yourself and your vehicle.

This kit is missing many of the gaskets needed to rebuild the gearbox. There is no turning back either. Do your homework before you buy.

Not 100% suitable for a 1999 Suburban K1500 despite selecting the correct vehicle prior to purchase. 1) Steering input shaft (short shaft) oil seal too large (one of the main leak areas). 2) Ball nut stand o-ring and teflon o-ring are too big. 3) The end cap o-ring is also too big. 4) The C-clamp for the end cap is also too big.
