Not Made in China - Starter

Instructions included to compress the bendix to install the pin would be nice. You will need two locking clips that open 4 inches to compress the bendix. The tractor no longer stops when attempting to start. I've started it at least five times now with no problems. Arrived quickly packed.

Pros
  • Replaces OEM Numbers: Arrowhead: SFD5022
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

To say I am very disappointed is an understatement!

I bought it in January but have only used the tractor a couple of times since then. Bendix broke two days ago. I haven't started the tractor more than 20 times since January. To say I am very disappointed is an understatement! I can't even get my money back as the returns window has already closed (because the months between fitting and now were off-season for me).

Pros
  • 1 year warranty protects you after purchase
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

On arrival for spares

old bendix did not ratchet and did not start the engine. I installed a new Bendix this morning and it got stuck when I tried to start the tractor. Thought it might be an accident, took it off again (easy to do with a big screwdriver, nut and spoked wheel), put it back on the starter, put it in the tractor and poked it out again. I threw it away and now it refuses to restart. I hope they have a decent return policy.

Pros
  • Specifications: Rotation: counterclockwise Teeth: 9
Cons
  • Compatibility
