Such an adorable owl!

I immediately started work on this fancy owl. Just one thing is a little disappointing; The thread comes off so easily, leaving the treated areas fuzzy rather than cleanly flat. Otherwise a nice and easy project for a beginner and anyone like me who loves owls.

Colors are not that bright

This is a good gift for someone who knows at least a little but is still a beginner. It's ok as a gift if someone is just really bored, maybe a white elephant. Not suitable for children. The instructions are terrible. The way they sent the yarn is annoying, it gets tangled and the colors they send are not as described. The pattern on the fabric is too light for the yarn to cover it. I won't get it again.

Not enough thread! best in Cross-Stitch

I got this as a fun little project/hobby for my free time. I was very confused at first because the instructions didn't explain the basic cross stitch skills. I had to look up how to start and end each color. I used to do cross stitches when I was 10 but it was only one color so this project was a bit more difficult. I finally figured it out and had a lot of fun doing it! I started knitting with white thread but ran out of thread before I could finish all the necessary sections. Really very…

Do not buy Maydear for Beginners

This pattern and other patterns from Maydear are so cute, in contrast to the cute "cute" patterns from other companies. But what good is a sweet if you can't collect it? I haven't embroidered since elementary school and decided to order a beginner kit. After 10 hours of trying to insert and remove the needle and noting how much thread was missing to buy more, the scarf was only half done. I tried to be proud but it was lumpy.
