Product photos show the included handle with tongue. The instructions state that it is important to install the net with this handle facing out. The manual contains photos of this pen. One of the reasons I bought this product over others was that it included a pen. Unfortunately, this product can be bought cheaper on Ebay. It doesn't come with a handle. ☆Update: My return and replacement were processed quickly. The new network came with interchangeable connectors. I've been using it for over 4 weeks with no problems. ☆ I bought this net to have some bags or items in it that won't fall off. So far, so good. The only claim to the ports on the bottom. (UPDATE) After a year of minimal use it just doesn't hold up. Stitched seams are torn, and the main elastic at the top is torn on one side and torn on the other. I would give it a few more months before it breaks and becomes unusable. I also found that the top clips constantly get in the way and accidentally get stuck and are VERY difficult to separate in low light. So much for my first very positive review (even lower). I used this net to convert a Toyota RAV4 to a Highlander with an OEM cargo
