Too slippery when wet

I've been looking for grips for my trail bike that I can ride without gloves. One device less. I was hoping they were tickets. But that's not the case. They're great as long as your hands stay dry. They are soft, absorb vibrations, are very comfortable and offer excellent control. But after 10 minutes of driving, when my hands are sweating, they become dangerous. Eventually my hands ached from squeezing them so hard they wouldn't slip. Before that I had our lock grips and then the stock giantโ€ฆ

Handle Installation Video - Parts & Components

Great Handles! I received them prior to my trip to Whistler. They burned my hand less on the descent and reduced my wrist pain incredibly. Not a bad setup if done right. Check out my video. With the right equipment that you can get in your bathroom, you can do this in 5-10 minutes. Just make sure you do the following in quick succession: Wipe the latch down to hell with isopropyl alcohol. Dilute the paper towel with alcohol (for later use). Fill the handle with a tablespoon of alcohol (withโ€ฆ

High quality disposable grips

I've ridden three different bikes with these grips and have always loved the feel and look. My two biggest complaints are that they are very difficult to install. The trick I learned during installation is to pour some kind of liquid and run the zip tie through the handle when installing. In this case, the zipper is mounted between the handle and the steering wheel and acts as a slider due to the smooth plastic surface. If you don't use a turnbuckle, you will try with all your might to pull the

Comfortable but not durable

***Update*** I taped the ends and it kept some dangling around and kept them from spoiling. It's been over half a year now and I'll be getting another set soon. I have to admit they are comfortable. If you're clumsy and like me chopping down trees, wrap the end in duct tape so they don't tear when you cut something and they're worth it. ***Original Review*** I bought these grips because I needed something bigger and with some padding to make it easier to pull the trigger tighter. Best grips I've tried

I've been using different MTB grips for over 10 years. I was sure they were the best grip for me. Then, on a whim, I tried ESI grips. At first my hands were a bit numb and I wasn't sure I liked them. After 8-10 rides I got used to them and I really liked them. I ride a hardtail and these cranks reduce vibration significantly. The cushioning they provide is noticeable. I had red knobs and a red color scheme for my bike components. A weld broke on my frame and the manufacturer gave a guaranteeโ€ฆ
