I purchased a GoTrax scooter I'm very happy with. I purchased this bike based on my experience with the scooter being positive.Pros: Battery and power are as advertised, folds and stows easily.Cons: No speedmeter or cruise control. Location of the throttle is not great, can be a bit of strain on the wrist while throttling. The tires also seem to be a pretty low grade rubber as they seem to be wearing prematurely. This is a good folding e-bike but it fits a specific niche use, which is basically short distance (under 15 miles for throttle-only) on smooth surfaces like well-maintained bike trails and sidewalks. Because of the small wheel size (16") you will feel bumps a lot more than a full size e-bike with 20" or larger wheels. I have not purchased this bike yet. I am a volunteer at my county's parks and I have seen a lot of these bikes and especially since Christmas. I have made inquiries and they are quite positive. The most cautions are the:1) folded up bulk of 29 x26", which is more difficult to stow that you might think they tell me.2) weight 57 lbs., can be a challenge for some folks.3) bike is too new to rate for durability, reliability, repairability.Number 1 and 2 are the downside of all electric bikes but…

Both bikes showed up with damage. The inside of the box has plastic pads to protect other areas of the box, but not on the frame end. So, both bikes have the same rash damage on the frame.Messaged Gotrax and was told that it's not their fault that their package sucks and blamed UPS for the damage. They won't do anything about it. Buyer beware.

good quality bike, but when you hold the accelerator for too long it tends to slow down. The cost of the bike may be too high, making it inaccessible to budget-conscious riders. Also, battery dies very fast.

Bad experience. Flat tire within 3 miles of the first ride on it. Battery was also showing down to about half at that point, way less than described. Very hard to pedal without the assist may be good in a very tiny neighborhood but not for an even short commute (was planning on using mine for a 7 mile commute)

Bike arrived mostly assembled and already charged. Easy to fold and store and a lot of fun to ride. Looks cool too. Thanks for attention.
