Read what you're buying before you buy

I thought I was buying a jet ski anchor at a great price but I didn't realize you really need to find rocks to put in your bag plug in to make it work. I should have read the full description.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • boring packaging

These things rock! for truck body and tailgate accessories

I bought two of these to keep my big swimmer in place and no matter how big the waves they stay in place. They can hold a good 60 pounds of sand each and are sturdy. I haven't noticed any wear or scuffs after multiple uses.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not automatic

Bought for use in Aruba.

Used to anchor rafts while lounging in the water in Aruba. It was easy to use and attach to my rafts. I tied 4 rafts together and never cared for them even when I wasn't in them. It worked great. Very easy to clean, carry and store.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Cable came loose from pocket

Monday was the first and only time I used this product. Part of the bag held the sand as intended, but the cord attached to the bag broke and my jet ski floated away. It was very disappointing that it was brand new, just out of the box. However, my money is wasted and I now have to find another anchor.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Highly recommended for truck beds and tailgate accessories

Very easy to use. Read some mixed reviews and was nervous about using it on the bay as it was a tough day on the water. Put 2-3 stones on the bottom and cover the rest with sand. It doesn't look like it will close all the way, but it hasn't leaked and has held tight even in high winds and rough seas! Highly recommended and excellent value for money. Easy to empty and take home when you're done.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Fine

Used it every day while swimming in Cape Cod.

I've been swimming on inflatable floats in Cape Cod for 40 years. This year we decided that we need to stay closer to shore because of the sharks. It was just what we needed to secure our swimmers next to the beach. Everyone on the beach was asking me where I got them, so you must have sold a lot of them. We pulled the heavy anchor to shore. It's so light and easy to use that my little grandkids used it.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Frequency

Anchor bag: external accessories

I used it as a canoe anchor at the BWCA last June. Kept me where I wanted to stay. Worked great with small adjustments. First remove the nylon rope. It's only 6 feet long, replace it with about 30 feet of 550 line. Make the center line of the loop, twist it toward you to make two smaller loops, insert a locking hook, and lock in your depth. It takes a little practice to get it right, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. Second: replace the line blockage with a better one. Or don't worry…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
