Works great: shocks, struts and suspension

Instructions a bit difficult to understand. You must consider open and closed positions. I had to redo mine because holding the lid up worked great, but the stem was only as deep as it could go into the case before the lid reached the closed position. After a few tries it's working great now. You no longer need to hold the lid open to put items in the box.

Exceeded my expectations

I bought these spacers for a high lift router table I built. The racks are all metal and include sturdy brackets with all the necessary hardware. The seller emailed me installation instructions after purchase. Installation was quick and easy - just make sure the mounting screws go into solid material as the posts are under a lot of pressure. Once installed, my router's tabletop easily lifts up with the touch of a finger. The real deal for less than twenty dollars.

Does exactly what I need.

I would never trust a gas spring to hold my bed up so I knew I would do something to support it when it did lift. All I needed was help lifting my extremely heavy, hard to move memory foam mattress with my 20 pound blanket on top. They were easy to install and now we can have under bed storage in our van (we didn't have an elevator before). The bed doesn't hold up, but I don't need it. This will NOT allow the plywood to remain closed without something sitting on it. They were inexpensive and…

The brackets are unusable

The posts are fine but the brackets have huge holes! The posts have 1/4" shanks and the included mounting screws are an even smaller diameter. But the holes in the brackets are 1/2", 3 holes total! Looks like they ran out of proper braces and plenty larger ones have been used as spares. And then they put some washers in the bag that barely cover the huge holes. When you use them they rattle every time you use them because the posts fall into the huge holes in the bracket If you don't have the…

special project. This thing is STRONG!

I liked how easy it was to install. I would wish for a little more variety in the assembly technique. but no big deal. I used it for a special project. to pack my freezer. I made a herringbone pattern table top and attached it to the freezer. The problem is. it was so damn heavy and I know it was tough on the freezer hinges. I had to find something that could do the lifting work for both the hinge and myself. BAMM! These racks are actually a bit too strong, but I found a way to seal the top…

Won't stay closed at first

I was planning to use two of these to support the lid of the heavy storage box on our new deck. It was a bit difficult to figure out exactly where to place them, although the instructions helped some. However, the main issue was that the lid didn't stay fully closed even after pressing it. I've seen others solve this problem by adding a latch to hold the lid in place, but I didn't want the latch to be visible so I gave up. I was trying to install 67 lb racks on an 80 lb cover. UPDATE: I really…
