Arrived today. I opened the box and there is no handle or handle!? Guess I'll have to dig out the old vice to make it work. :/

Strap too long. It bunches up and is very difficult to straighten when cranking. The sides of the strap are constantly caught in the sprockets. The mounting holes aren't perfect either.

When the tape is wound onto the spool it is much higher than the sidewalls of the spool. I took this photo after carefully winding the strap and keeping it taut while winding; not something I would do while towing a boat. I had to go back.

Heavy duty winch with full webbing spool, quality hook and strong base. I used it to elevate a 24 foot tall aluminum antenna 300 feet off the ground in 20 mph winds. For a boat or jet ski, this is a walk in the park.

My watercraft weighs just over 300 pounds. I've probably used this winch about 4 or 5 times this year. The 5th bet turned out to be weaker than the 1st bet. I suspect rounding teeth. But I can't tell from a visual inspection. The time will show. Relatively good value for money.

So I replaced these with my used one. The bolt through the handle spindle came loose completely the third time. I have relied on this product on a winch on a 450 lb boat and a misplaced bolt nearly cost me my boat. Make sure you screw on everything you buy.
