Broken part on aftermarket

The gasket does not fit my 2006 Buick Lacrosse, although it looks like the correct part on site, it is offset about 1/8" on one side. Unfortunately, when I found out that it didn't fit, I came back a day late.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Modern

Excellent quality and far superior to the factory pads.

The new timing cover gasket was metal with a bead gasket attached that will not wear out or leak coolant. Additional o-rings for coolant lines, camshaft sensor and oil filter adapters.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Quality sealing at an affordable price.

This pad works great. There was a coolant leak under the timing case cover which is now fixed. The seal is metal, not paper, so don't expect it to leak for a long time. Good product. Came with an upgraded water pump seal.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Metal spacer fits perfectly on my 2006 Buick Luzerne CXL 3.8L

This was a tricky install as everything had to be removed. It was nice that the metal gasket stayed in place and I didn't have to worry about it breaking. Quality upholstery and a really good price.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Beware. 2 sets bought

I only used a cover gasket, crankshaft oil seal and water pipe elbow o-rings (1 of 4 failed). I installed the 1st set (cap gasket and crank gasket), both failed. My fault regarding the gasket by too much sealant, 2. Gasket installation was held onto the lid gasket without using any caulk, gasket failed again. If one thinks that wear and tear on the pulley where the seal is located is causing two seals to leak, both are found. In this set of seals I ordered a Redi sleeve but it turned out to beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

Main control seal missing almost ยฝ inch (twice)

TLDR: Control gasket does not fit and pulls almost half an inch in two brand new sets. Bought for a 2006 Buick Lacrosse 3800 Series III after experiencing a massive coolant leak from both timing case cover coolant passages to the block. (Pictures of RTV in pan gasket section) Bought the kit and attempted to install it the day after delivery. And no matter what, I couldn't line up all of the screw holes on either side of the block. The front end was leveled and the oil pan was exposed. The aftโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • The list will go on.
