I read another Revain review about using the window control to move the motorized platen behind the mirror a certain angle when changing the mirror and it made this repair very easy. The butter knife worked great. I'm not crafty and just fixed my broken mirror disk for $15! Used on 2011 Honda CRV SE.

Couldn't be cheaper and fits my daughter's 2010 Honda CRV perfectly. It took 5 minutes to remove the broken mirror and replace it with a new one. Looks great and has the same look and feel as the original factory mirrors. I've definitely saved a lot of money by avoiding the dealer price or replacing the entire mirror assembly. Excellent goods.

I'm having trouble snapping bottom. The top part hung slightly on the motor mount, but the clips on the bottom didn't snap into place. I was afraid that if I pressed too hard on the mirror and shattered it, or worse, shattered the motor mount, which would cost the repair bill a lot more. First, I disagree with reviewers who say this mirror looks concave or that the clearances are very different from older mirrors. This mirror (on the passenger side for me) looks the same and has the same "objects in the mirror appear closer". Tag string as original. I believe this line is meant to start on the passenger side only, so maybe that's part of the confusion for some people.
