Obviously I didn't have the technique required to use this tool. I bought this for a project and also a gooseneck but ended up not using it. I was attempting to drill a top panel into an existing wall that already contained insulation. The bit got stuck in isolation so I didn't use it. Other than that, the placement tool worked very well. When I first used the flexible nozzle without tools, I felt the end of the nozzle hit the outer wall. If I had drilled I would have punched the wall through the siding.
