Fortessa Royal Pacific Slotted Spoon: Durable Stainless Steel, 10-Inch Length Review

We previously bought the Cambridge Set, but we were dissatisfied with the size and feel of the set. We ordered 6-sets of the Fortes Royal Pacific and and we are very pleased with the fit, finish, and size. Before commenting on the Fortessa Royal Pacific flatware, you need to know what motivated my purchase. I have a 20-pc. Hampton Forge set of bamboo-themed flatware that has served me very well for 15+ years, but when I was in the process of "refreshing" my modest dining room, I was either going to get a new set of HF flatware (current set is starting to show it's age), or consider an "upgrade". I already had this style for every day and wanted some replacement pieces. I couldn't get the same ones so ordered these and they are so much nicer than what I had that I'm thinking of replacing my old ones now. Very good quality.

This is a nice heavy piece and looks beautiful. However, there is a slight defect under the bowl part. I felt it, though, and it doesn't catch on cloth nor is it sharp. I'm assuming that the little defect will not grow with use or lead to peeling of the metal. I really like the piece and it will get some use.

This is the second time I've ordered this product, and the wrong item was sent. Apparently the fulfillment personnel will not verify the contents because twice in a row the wrong pattern was sent.On the bottom of the box it does say "San Marco," the pattern that I ordered. On the end, though, the correct name of the pattern is labelled. That's right folks! Best Buy labelled the boxes incorrectly and no one bothered to verify with the manufacturer labelling. These are sturdy and have a nice heft. They stay shiny and look good with daily use and washing by hand and in the dishwasher.

I have had a set of flatware for 40+ years and decided I wanted to mix it up a little. I was attracted to this Pacific Royal flatware because of the bamboo-shaped handles, which is great for folks that like tropical themed items. I read that this is the flatware used in Tommy Bahama restaurants - not 100% sure of this fact, but my family goes for these utensils first. They are weighty and substantial and the eating ends are nicely shaped. Just wish they made more serving pieces.

Terrible. Ordered 4 sets. All four sets with damaged chipped top layer rough to the touch. Missing one fork. All forks and one spoon also damaged.

After 20+ years of using a high quality Oneida set, I wanted something with similar heft and balance. This set did not disappoint. Have been using daily for 2 months and am very pleased with it. Would recommend.

Great flatware- nice and heavy. Only thing is I cannot figure out a way to purchase 6 additional teaspoons since we need extra. Would like it if they sold pieces separately.

I bought 3 total of these. the first had a defective knife. The second was missing an entire place setting AND several other pieces. Best Buy refunded. Waiting on a replacement. Otherwise, product is fabulous.

My house has tropical accents and dining set. I saw these at a restaurant in Maui and tracked them down on Best Buy Great find.

Very nice. Nice price. Substantial weight, attractive, unusual design, nice finish. Strandard, not over-sized. Forks and spoons don't nest as tight vertical stacks because handles are round. You'll love this jumbled bamboo grove in your kitchen drawer.

Very happy with this purchase. My existing 20 year old silverware actually was holding up very well. I just LOVED this design so much after seeing it in Hawaii I had to find it for myself ! Great sturdiness & design … let’s just hope they hold up as well as my last set. 🤞🏼

Washed this set ONE TIME and half the set has rust on it. I did so much research- there is no way these are real if it rusted after one wash.

I was skeptical when ordered. The first set of 4 place settings arrived and I feel in love. These have great weight and look beautiful after being in the dishwasher. Needless to say, I have purchased an additional 3 sets. LOVE.

I continue to be impressed with this flatware. Feels sturdy and well balanced in the hand. The design is classy and timeless. These are heirloom quality. And yeah, you can use the tablespoon to dip even the hardest frozen ice cream out without worrying about it bending. Be careful with those butter knives. I cut my finger being a bit inattentive while use one.

I have only washed the silverware once. I used 7th Generation detergent in the dishwasher. All of the knives came out with brown rust spots. The forks and spoons were ok so far. I purchased 4 sets. At this price, I expected better quality. I love the design, so I am very disappointed! I have been using a Oneida silverware set that is 26 years old. It remains in perfect condition?!

I'm reviewing the San Marco Antiqued flatware set. I have come to find that if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. I bought a set of 20 pieces at a store and after I got them, decided I wanted to purchase another set, however, the store I bought them at was out of stock. I then found these - the 4 sets of 5 would be $50 less than what I purchased them for in the store so I bought them.
