No updates? Frozen?

I was able to download updated software but the device itself is not updated. Very strange design. You need to remove the micro SD card from it, connect it to the computer, update the SD card, connect the scanner to the computer, put the updated SD card back into the scanner and do the update, which then freezes for several hours . Don't they know that USB has bi-directional data transfer? Although this is a Honda unit, the owner's manual is for Toyota. The instructions are clumsily written…

Lack of GOOD User Manual

I bought this scanner to help troubleshoot excessive battery drain on my 2008 Acura TL. The steps to use the scanner were like a puzzle. Thanks to my experience with computers, I was finally able to deal with it. But its use has many unknowns. Impressive features for the money

This is a very impressive product. The actual fit and workmanship, the materials and the feeling in the hand are right. It feels how much it costs. However, once plugged in, I was very surprised at how powerful it was. I'm used to using a factory Honda HDS scanner that costs thousands of dollars. Clears codes, reads some data, very slow and not very intuitive but paid for itself

Device turns on immediately and recognizes my VIN. A "quick" scan takes about 10 minutes. It took me a while to learn this, but when I go into the menu I can quickly see individual codes and/or clear the check engine light. Navigating through these menus is not intuitive at all. Some functions require you to press F1-F3, others require you to press the back arrow. It's just very strange. Many other functions I think they are. NT510 Elite programmed for MB needs machining

Scanner turns on and reads codes. It claims to be able to reset TPMS but doesn't. I was able to test one of the four pillars but couldn't set the clock on the dashboard. I'm not sure what this will do other than reset the oil life. The website does not work to create a service ticket. The serial number "does not exist" and the update does nothing. Saved me money fixing my window problem

I bought a used 2011 Mercedes E-350 Cabriolet that had an issue that caused the driver's window to fall halfway, after it booted up. I had to fiddle with him 2-3 times to get him up. A cheap device that requires software you don't need on your computer

This has to be one of the most unfortunate devices. Not to mention that the software is really troublesome for your computer because it downloads programs unnecessarily and then doesn't uninstall everything by itself. In fact, most programs remained installed on the 3 systems tested. There are some usability issues: you MUST have an internet connection to use the device (the software requires you to log into the website first) and get your data and updates. No thank you.
