Beautiful and functional

Beautiful and functional. My daughter loves wearing her life jacket! She is 3 years old and weighs about 36 pounds, fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Little things

Everyone admires this life jacket for our smallest family member.

Everyone admires this life jacket for our smallest member of the family. However, remember that toddlers need constant supervision as a life jacket doesn't keep their face above water, it keeps their body above water. Never leave a child unattended.

Turns your baby face into water!

Although this life jacket is very cute, I would not recommend it to anyone! While we were in the pool this vest kept turning my son face first in the water! Luckily he was never alone and I never left his side. Be very careful when choosing a life jacket for your kids! This is not a life jacket!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some flaws

DANGER your child will drown

DO NOT buy this life jacket! I bought this for my son who is 31.5lbs and this life jacket makes the little ones drown! I bought the one with the dinosaur design and the back shield is designed to have your child lean forward and face underwater. When you buy it, please don't leave your child unattended, this life jacket is DANGEROUS!

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled

Supports baby's head

Our angel knows how to stay afloat and thinks he can swim! LOL It's so cute how she spins in the water and it's reassuring to know that it's a stable device to keep her head above the water. I read several reviews that said the crotch strap is rough. We ran it through a very large soft cloth to keep her thighs and parts from chafing. I know it's overkill but she loves it and this vest fits our budget.

Face Submersible

My son is 2 years old and weighs 30 pounds. This life jacket pushes him face first into the water where he cannot raise his head. We tried just keeping the bow at the back but it continued to do the same. We had to have him sit on our laps or on one of our legs. The jacket also kept slipping off his neck and wrinkling his face, and no matter how tight we tightened the straps, it would slip off. This made it almost impossible for him to be alone, only repeatedly forcing him to lie face down. We…

Type 3 lifejackets DO NOT hold the child face up!

This review is intended to help potential buyers of this lifejacket. This is a Type 3 lifejacket designed only for SWIMMING the child, NOT for keeping them on their back and face up! All the critical reviews I read before ordering this life jacket were concerned that it wasn't holding her baby face up. BUT that's NOT what it's designed for. This requires a type 1 or type 2 life jacket, which is also sold by this manufacturer. This was clearly explained in the documentation that came with the…
