Timing Belt Component: Impressive Results

The Gates timing belt component I purchased for my car exceeded my expectations. As my tests showed, this component has remarkable durability and longevity. The material is of high quality and is resistant to wear and tear. The installation was also easy, even for someone with basic mechanical knowledge. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey compared to other brands, but the extra cost is worth it for the peace of mind it provides.

My mechanic offered to buy this and I'm glad he is well versed on Honda vehicles.

Exactly the same parts used by the Honda dealer: GATES timing belt and two Koyo pulleys. My mechanic offered to buy it and I'm glad he knows Honda cars well. The two Koyo pulleys removed from the car have the same appearance and markings. Gates Made in Japan is printed on the belt. Yes, contrary to the description "Made in USA" it says "Made in Japan" on the belt itself. Each of them is really good. "Honda" is printed on the original strap. But otherwise everything is the same with both straps,

Acura MDX Fit 06 Fine. Appears to be well built.

Perfect fit for my 2006 Acura MDX 3.5L engine. Box stated that the belt was made in the USA and the two pulleys were made in Japan. 4 stars because I don't know about durability - but don't worry. I changed the belt after 7 years and 104,000 km. I thought long and hard about just changing the belt or buying a kit with additional parts. I called two dealerships in the Southern California area and got mixed answers about what changing a timing belt changes and what is additional but often…
