GearWrench 368076 Replacement Socket Serpentine Review

The quality control needs to be revised. Whoever passed mine didn't realize that the bevel was never finished, meaning it couldn't fit the tool in any way. I shared the original. It was the same size and height but could not be inserted at all. Rather than fumbling around and waiting for a replacement, I quickly turn to the grinder to put in the same profile and it's good now, although it will corrode sooner now.

This will not work with a standard serpentine belt tool that attaches to a 3/8" socket like a socket wrench. 3/8 inch connection inside, like most standard outlets. Don't buy it if you have a standard serpentine belt tool that doesn't come with a 14mm short head. That's why I bought it, only to discover my mistake. Use this socket on the notches on the outside of the socket, not the 3/8" connection inside like most regular sockets.
