Easy to install but high pressure line will not fit

Position of this kit reversed from under the power steering pump up at an approximate 45 degree angle to fit between the pulley and fluid reservoir. There was no way the standard high pressure hose for the 2002 Grand Prix GT would match the new configuration. The metal lever is too long and there is too much hose. I hope I don't have to go to my local hydraulic shop to reconfigure this hose for installation, but I don't see any other way.

This is a cheap, if not easy, solution. This is a genuine GM part. I got mine from Finley Chevrolet. it was the simplest solution to a serious problem that I have ever solved. I read somewhere that this part is too expensive, but it's not true. Having replaced ball joints, control arm bushings, multiple…

You can get a flow control fitting from a 1996 power steering pump and then use a 1996 power steering high pressure hose. The fitting should be $40 and the hose $30. Those two pieces are exactly what this thing does, but it eliminates extra hoses and the possibility of an extra connection leaking. Also note that if your steering is too harsh, you may need a smaller bore flow regulator to help…
