Fragile and cannot print well at all settings

the filament arrived sealed , but was brittle I'm well versed in using my machine with multiple filaments and can usually find a good setup I even developed a checklist When my checklist didn't solve the problem I cut off a section of the filament removed from the spool and checked the thickness A freshly calibrated caliper showed a thickness in 1" intervals between 1.64 and 1.79. The only time I've seen this was with really cheap filament) or filament that wasn't enough at the time I've also…

3.6 X-ray. Not great, not terrible.

I bought this 200 gram bronze spool because I need very little to print small brass parts. It does the job but as others have said it's really brittle. It's even more fragile because I live in a very dry region of the US. I was lucky it didn't break while printing. However, after I put the pressure (and let the spool sit there) the filament will break in 2 or 3 places. I often work with an extruder (Ender 3) so I have to disassemble the extruder to insert the broken filament. I also found it…

Pros
  • Filament diameter 1.75mm (dimensional accuracy +/- 0.03mm)
Cons
  • Write later

Filament diameter

This filament was clogging my 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8mm nozzles (tried and tested brass nozzles, but mostly my nozzles and hardened steel) with my E3D hot ends on straight and bowden feed printers. (E3Dv6 with Bowden and CR10 upgraded with Titan Aero) I have to point out that it must be mixed metal, I've never had this problem with other metal threads. Thought I'd like to try this for the price. It works great for the first part of the print, looks really nice but suddenly clogs the printer. Not only…

Cons
  • No Power
