Quality has dropped

This thread is terrible and keeps blocking. I've been trying to do the same push all week but it keeps failing. I thought it was my printer, but all the other stuff I've tried prints with no problems using the same gcode. bottom line. But now the manufacturer seems to have changed the formula, and when it's not jamming it generally prints with a foggy appearance except at the most prohibitive temperatures (230+). Don't waste your money or your mind on junk.

I started getting orders a while ago, but the thread was looking rather grim. Still translucent (not important to me) but not nearly as transparent as before. My prints started losing hair. No threads like I have a retraction problem but tiny scraps. Then blockages, half-squeezes and problems began. I've been so in love with this thread for

I have quite a bit of experience using and troubleshooting FDM 3D printers - from the MakerBot Rep2 to the Stratasys Fortus 400 - of course I've seen a lot of good and bad practices related to this technology. I don't claim to know the ins and outs of filament production or formulation, but of the types I've used, Gizmo Dork's 1.75mm PLA in Translucent Blue is probably the most…
