Precision connection between camera and telescope

Canon 500D/T1i connection to telescope with this combination of T-ring and M42 1.25" adapter. Precision metal connection for Canon DSLR to mine Refractor Simple machined parts can go bad, but this Gosky combo looks and feels very solid.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Good but no instructions

Good metal comes in bubble wrap but no instructions at all. When I installed it on my Canon Rebel T5 and 8 in a Dobsonian telescope, I found that simply using the adapter would not focus and I had to use my small eyepiece with the telescope to get proper focus.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Nothing

Sturdy well made Astrophotography T-ring

I bought this to use with the Canon Rebel T3i and it works as expected. The aluminum ring is strong enough that I don't have to worry about my camera falling or slipping. Very easy to use with your camera and no complaints after four sessions since I bought it.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • For the old

Well made and a solid mount. Use with 10 " reflecting telescope

T-ring adapter bought for Canon 7i. Well made and a solid mount. Used with a 10" reflecting telescope. The back focus of this setup is on typical DSLR problem. The camera sensor is too far away from the focus point, so focusing is not possible. Even with the 2" camera adapter, the camera is still too far away from the actual focus of the telescope. If you have the same problem, use a Barlow with an adapter. It works well for images of the planets, but I find this setting enlarges the moon too…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Great T-ring and T-adapter for the price.

This is a pretty good T-ring and T-mount for a Canon camera. However, if like me you have a long focal length telescope, you might want to get an extension tube version, as the camera can't reach its focal plane or point directly connected to the 8" Dobsonian. 2x Barlow lens in between to reach the focal plane of the camera sensors. An extension tube allows you to use the eyepiece inside or outside, which allows the camera to reach focus to get a clear image instead of a big fuzzy ball of…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
