Error on first use despite method 15 on, 15 off. The impeller slowed to almost a complete stop and the wires got very hot. Canceled for security reasons. Didn't expect it to last forever but definitely at least on first use.

Amazing little pump. I adapted a 5/8 garden hose to the outlet by snipping off the pinned end of the hose a few inches. I heated the tubing in boiling water to pull it over the pump outlet. Now I just screw the rest of the garden hose onto the hose threads. It also inflates fairly quickly. Very important.

DO NOT USE WITH DIESEL ENGINE! This pump failed when I was transferring diesel fuel from my storage tank to the generator tank for the fourth time. The impeller began to slip on the shaft. I replaced it with another one. He lasted 4 gears before failing the 5th. I made another attempt and the second attempt failed to change the diesel. All the errors were the same: the impeller began to slip on the shaft.

I have a 2500 gallon emergency water tank. If we lose the well for any reason, we have it. My plan was to use a submersible pump to move the water to reduce freezing. I installed it in the bottom of the tank. My test runs showed (after a few minutes) that the water at the top was moving very slowly. Success.
