I was looking for a coffee pot for our RV. We ride off-road fairly often, and glass isn't the best option. This option with a stainless steel carafe works great! I wasn't impressed that there's no burner (once the coffee is brewed the machine turns off) but the vacuum jug keeps it hot for a long time - which turned out to be a bonus, because now we don't have to run the generator , just to keep the coffee hot. Highly recommended!

This is the third time we have bought this coffee maker. We use it once every day and often twice, we are big coffee consumers. For us, this coffee maker lasts an average of three to four years, significantly longer than the very expensive Cuisinart that spilled coffee in my kitchen within the first year of use. it was. Most importantly, it works and the coffee tastes great. I've only had it a day so can't confirm its longevity, but everything seems to be working as it should. Secondly, and very importantly, it doesn't beep at the end of the brewing cycle. Almost everything I have squeaks. My fridge if I leave the door open too long. This is my first insulated thermos and definitely better than a heated plate which will burn your coffee and require cleaning.
