Pink filament - my new review

The color of the filament is very attractive. Thanks for attention. The deposition (adhesion) of the filament was even and close.

Pros
  • Fácil denimirmir y acabados muy limpios
Cons
  • Not compatible with all 3D printers

Looks amazing, a little brittle

Looks great, and really does looks like metal from only a few feet away, the only problem I have with it is that it is kinda brittle compared to the Esun filament I am using.

Pros
  • Hatchbox never disappoints. They're becoming my go-to filament manufacturer.
Cons
  • May cause quality issues in the final print

Extremely brittle good for me

The print quality is good but the filament is extremely brittle. I 3D printed a small benchy on 10% infill and was able to break the entire thing in half with my hands. Wouldn’t buy the pink filament ever again. Printed with a .6 nozzle using curas default settings with a raft. I wouldn’t print anything with this that your actually going to use I don’t even the 100% infill would print most parts from breaking. This is completely ridiculous at how little force it took to break the benchy. I also

Pros
  • The filament's color can easily be matched to different skin tones, making it ideal for creating accurate and lifelike figurines or models
Cons
  • Can be challenging to find proper storage conditions

Is it brittle? for my opinion

I've used Hatchbox for a couple of years now and love the results. This one, however; the silk silver PLA might just be more brittle than the other colors. I'm still making this 5 stars, but if you have a model with a small "neck" it might be more brittle than other colors (both black and white Hatchbox filament have been workhorses for me). I could not get a particular piece to print with any strength in this filament when compared to the black or white, even after 5 tries with different…

Pros
  • The filament's smooth finish makes it a great choice for printing toys and action figures
Cons
  • May require frequent calibration to maintain accuracy

Superb Pla for my opinion

1. LOOK AT THAT AMAZING SHINE (added photo of other "gold” pla and this one really stands out2. It is strong quality3. No chemical smellOverall the only reason i gave it a 4/5 was because i still had to put a decent amount of glue to make sure it stuck. ButWOULD RECOMMEND AGAIN

Pros
  • This 3D printer filament is perfectly suited for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing parts for machines and other mechanical objects
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of print jobs

Beautiful Print! in my review

I did a test print at 205C and found that to be the right temp for me. 1 KG (approximately 2.20 lbs) Spool! Did a print and it came out beautiful 🤘🤘

Pros
  • 1 KG (approximately 2.20 lbs) Spool
Cons
  • Can produce a lot of fumes during printing

Finicky Tiffany Blue Substitute

It's a bit more finicky than the regular hatchbox PLA, but the color is very close to Tiffany Blue(shown next to Kate Spade misty mint). I had issues with prints delaminating.

Pros
  • This 3D printer filament is ideal for printing high-end design products, art pieces, and unique fashion accessories
Cons
  • May not come out as silky smooth as advertised

Best filament ever except the blue

Ok this filament is amazing and totally worth the fee extra dollars. I print and sell cookie cutters and this filament gave me the cleanest, smoothest prints I’ve ever gotten. I’m printing with mint green PLA. I’m am thrilled and will be using this filament forever more.Update: the blue silk is extra "sticky” which is great for adhering to the bed but so great when it pulled a layer off my pei steel sheet on two of my printers.

Pros
  • Hatchbox Silver Silk PLA filaments come in resealable packaging, keeping the filament fresh and moisture-free
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean up after use

Love this filament good for me

Of the 3 filaments of tried so far this is my absolute favorite. It just prints darn good! This filament has made my beginner 3d printing experience a breeze. I think it’s almost cheating. The other 2 filaments I’ve had where not pleasant. Hatchbox will always be my number one choice for PLA.

Pros
  • Wonderful. Even survives the cats who run off with my prints
Cons
  • May require longer print times

glogged Nozzle good for me

Used on 2 different printers [different manufactures] and it consistently jammed both nozzles. Replaced nozzles with brand new nozzles and it printed a short while and jammed those. I modified heats and speed to no avail. I have been printing with PLA and PETG for a couple of years now. This Hatchbox silk silver PLA clogs.

Pros
  • Works well on my 3D printer.
Cons
  • May require specialized maintenance and cleaning

My preferred brand for printing

This brand is my #1 to use. It works the best for me. As you can see how some of the other options are out of stock, it's because this is one of the better brands and a good value. The gold looks great as well as you can see from my picture.

Pros
  • Hatchbox Silver Silk PLA filaments are compatible with a range of slicing software and design tools, making them a versatile choice for 3D printing
Cons
  • May require specialized storage containers to maintain quality

That shimmer. in my review

Use this filament to print trophies as a joke. So far the longest print with this filament I had was 15 hours total, and this stuff didn't skip a beat. Love the color, love the shimmer. Great stuff!

Pros
  • The filament comes on a 1kg spool, ensuring that you can complete long and complex prints without running out of filament
Cons
  • Not environmentally friendly
