Hazet 850 E10 Socket Square Torx Review

Powered by many Chevy Cruze 1.4 liter turbocharged engines and there are many E10 screw heads. The Hazet 1/4 head is my choice. I ordered Hazet E12. I love that their drive is 1/4 while being strong enough to always work both when they are removed and when the torque is turned on when needed. German-made tools are way better than Chinese crap. Delivery takes some time, but we're worth it.

I have a nice set of Gearwrench E-torx sockets that suit me, but I wanted a Hazet E10 for the valve cover and oil pan. When a 2-pound torque difference can blow off an aluminum bolt, nothing is more important than precision. So I wanted the Hazet head to fit my Gedore torque wrench. I also like the knurling around the Hazet sockets which makes them easier to grip.

Most tool manufacturers only offer E10 with 3/8 drive. If you are looking to remove the intake manifold on a Mercedes Benz W212 you will need this bushing to access the fastener in the air intake. I've had several other E10 sockets that didn't eliminate the hole. Now I regret that I only bought the whole set now. Especially since the new Lotus Emira is equipped with an AMG engine. The highest quality tools in my box are Hazet.
