A must-have data asset management tool for any healthcare facility

This product is easy to use, has great customer service support staff who are very knowledgable about their products capabilities and limitations as well as how they can help you get it configured for your needs if needed! It's an expensive solution but worth every penny in terms of ease of implementation compared with other less costly solutions out there like EMC or Netbackup which have much longer learning curves plus cost more than this one does too! I am using HDA primarily because we do…

Pros
  • Easy configuring
  • Very intuitive interface/admin portal.
  • Security features such encryption & key rotation built into software already so no additional licensing fees required here either,
  • Reliable performance when properly implemented according my observations from past experience over several years now working within healthcare IT industry since 1999 (retired) where i've seen many

Great for storing medical records: Health Data Archiver

The ability to store patient data in a HIPAA-compliant manner. The ability to add new fields to the database without having to do a major software overhaul. I wish there was an option to have the database automatically sync with a cloud-based system. I also wish that there was a way to have the database automatically sync with another database. I have been able to store patient data in a HIPAA-compliant manner. It is a lot easier to find and retrieve patient data when the database is in a…

Pros
  • To be easily accessible from anywhere using either desktop computer/laptop
Cons
  • There are some features which could possibly improve user experience.
  • Needs more integrations

Great experience using HDA in our ERP system

We were able to use Health Data Archiver to store patient-specific records and utilize them during a patient's lifetime. Their support was extremely helpful during the implementation process. There was very little to dislike about the product. Their support team is fantastic and you cannot go wrong with this company. The only thing that I can see is that I wish that I could have utilized it for a longer amount of time. We were able to store patient specific information from previous providers…

Pros
  • Very user friendly
  • Easy navigation; all pertinent data stored in one place.
  • Ability retrieve old documents quickly, without having access or knowledge as far prior provider names/names are not needed at any point when using HDA software platform (for retrieving medical history)
  • Excellent customer service they really listen! They provide great feedback &

Retrieval of archived documents from any computer

The ability to archive data securely in an offsite location is one thing that I like about this product, as well being able to retrieve it when needed for reporting or other purposes; however there are some features such as "search" which can be improved upon - more powerful search options would help! We have been using HDA since we first implemented our electronic medical record system over 10 years ago now so not much has changed regarding functionality but everything else concerning…

Pros
  • Data security and data privacy the ability to archive data securely in an offsite location is one thing that I like about this product, as well being able to retrieve it when needed for reporting or other purposes; however there are some features such as "search" which can be improved upon more powerful search options would help!
