Perfect for my project. This was to fix a hole in a blanket I crocheted a few years ago. I couldn't find it anywhere except at Revain (I think it's been discontinued). The colors are exactly the same as the ones I used before so it will work perfectly. Shipping was a bit expensive but I needed it so what are you going to do? If I could find it in a store it would cost a few dollars less. Nevertheless I am satisfied with the purchase.

It's not the softest but in my experience Red Heart Acrylic Yarn softens up nicely after washing and rinsing in a linen conditioner. That's exactly what I expected. A week later, after unwinding a few yards, I found that there was a lot less blue than the strand suggested. 2 inches of blue for about 21 inches of cream and brown chromaticity. It made a really messy crochet look of any kind. Tied in stockinette stitch it looks a little better. For this reason I want to give this yarn 3 stars.

Interest in embroidery and other hobbies has increased in the aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis, when people have been forced to stay at home. While queuing for different types of yards on Revain I saw a lot of great colors and sent for this one (Red Heart Super Icelandic Color).
