This works well, but don't expect it to look like any kind of real frosted glass. It looks like what it is: a stick-on film. This is made worse by the small repeat pattern which looks, well, repetitive on any typical piece of glass. We’ve used window film in previous homes. Installing HIDBEA wasn’t easy, but it got easier. I doubt it could get truly easy unless done repeatedly and often. One big difference is that now there’s lots of DIY material on the internet. I highly recommend watching a few videos. Also, start small. Save the big window(s) until you’ve a little practice. Our sunroom can get quite warm in the summer months. I wanted something like this to help cut down on the UV rays while still allowing light to fill the room.Installation was not too difficult. I put this on a bathroom window 2 weeks ago. It was easy to cut to size and quick to install. This window film offers privacy yet lets in the natural light. Very pleased!

I’m not sure if it’s because we installed this in the bathroom, which gets humid, or because of how the morning sun heats up the window, but this didn’t stay on well. Also, I - as a homeowner- am not so handy, so cutting it to the exact right size was a challenge. That said, it’s pretty and does the job. I just had to use double sided tape to keep it up.

I have to get someone else to help me to get this installed correctly. I tried 1 panel & it looks nice. It won't look offensive to my neighbor whose windows are on 2nd floor apartments. I wanted something SUBTLE. I like this design.
