Hillman 150009 Coarse 16 Inch 100 Pack Review

That's shit from China again. The zinc coating has come off the hex nuts. I can never recall the Everbilt hex nuts I buy locally ever having this problem. I see that all other reviews have a high rating, maybe I got a bad batch. However, I will never buy them again and I shame the Hillman Group for selling this rubbish.

Machine nuts were good quality, arrived on time and as presented. Every 100 pieces. But due to bad plastic bag and lack of shipping box, the nuts broke through bag and rattled in the shipping box. Luckily none of the other items were brittle or they would have been beaten. Suggest both a sturdier bag and at least some packaging in the box.

This is just what I need for a workbench I'm starting that needs a ton of carriage bolts, washers, lock washers and these nuts. They have been zinc plated to slow the rust that erodes all metals over time. If all of this combined keeps the workbench from falling apart, then due to the quality of the fasteners and those nuts I used, it will be many years before a repair is needed. Four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
