Couldn't get the same quality in store - great buy!

Ideal for installing storm blinds. Local stores only sold cheap fakes, and in Florida's wet weather it's not worth skimping on or you won't take them off. or rust everywhere. I've tried all of the storm shades recently and used about 150 of them and they all worked well. Not a single fake, and the threat, and the overall quality of the product is top!

  • Free for educational purposes

Easy to turn on and off, love them!

These washer and nut combos make it easy to install and remove fasteners in situations where you may not want to fiddle with tools or track down a loose washer or small, hard-to-reach nut. I use them to attach some surface mount theater chairs to a stand I'm building, and these simple thumbscrews allow me to easily put them on and off to move furniture. Highly recommended!

Quality locks for curtains.

Good fasteners with excellent coverage for use in salt water. They are designed for metal (most often aluminum) storm blinds. This is black metal, not stainless steel. They have a really good finish that holds up well in a salty environment for weeks. The threading was of good quality, with no cross threads or too thick a coating on the threads. Stock up ahead of hurricane season as local big box stores will sell out when you need them.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Line is shorter than others

Not very good quality. don't last as long as they should!

I bought these wing nuts for my storm panels. These wing nuts are cast, not forged, so don't expect them to last too long. after some time they are degraded by weather influences. They look fine when new, but break after a while when tightening or unscrewing. I could not find a substitute for a product that could be of better quality. they are cheaply made. Compared to the stainless steel bolts used in conjunction with these wing nuts, I have not had to replace a single bolt in the last 20+…

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Big and bulky
