Excellent quality, strong clamps

Excellent quality, strong clamps. Used to replace OEM worm drive clamps in my intake system (turbocharged car). I feel better when they are there than the OEM, especially during a fresh install with performance components.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Repair

A well-made clip is a bad description.

The clamp was well made and robust. But the description was wrong. Make this clamp as small as possible, and there's no way it will be tight enough on a 2.75" outer hose. I ended up ordering the next smaller size and kept it because it wasn't too expensive and it was very well made. The smaller clamp was ideal.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Wear safety goggles in case they break!

I purchased and tightened about seven HPS T-bolts for my 2015 Subaru WRX STI Process West Intercooler with no problems, but one of those sizes snapped when tightened. Be sure to wear safety goggles when getting dressed! The broken end flew away and I was lucky not to get hurt. The ones installed so far are working fine for one run. Let's see if they hold up. At least Revane will send me another one quickly.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

A must for automotive applications!

Replacing the TMIC Subaru OEM hose on a fast failing throttle body with a new Mishimoto and these clamps. Regular clamps fail as they cannot be tightened enough and read that the T clamp was the best choice. It was a little difficult to adjust the clamp so it could be tightened, but used a long socket extension and got the job done. The wide body design and the ability to attach a hose gave me a better feel for the car as a whole. I think I had a slight boost leak because of that. In any case…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Excellent Clamp in Clamps & Sleeves

I believe these clamps are for rubber hoses, coolant hoses or inlet hoses. I saw them used on a motorcycle exhaust and decided to try them on my car exhaust. They don't have the ability to pinch enough to pinch the exhaust pipe, so slits must be cut in the outer pipe. In my case, the slots were pre-cut into the tube at the factory. These clamps provided enough clamping force to hold the slotted outer tube securely against the inner tube in my exhaust system. They look a lot better than regular…
