Description of Hurst 3838500 Pro Matic Automatic Shift

Positive reverse Loc/Out for NHRA and IHRA requirements. Progressively illuminated gear position indicator. Incorporates a neutral safety and back-up light switch assembly. Fits transmissions Ford C-4 / C-6 Mopar / AMC A727-A904. Chrome-plated stick and a black knob (3/8-16 thread) give the shifter a custom look.

Great manipulator but not compatible.

Great switch, very good price, not suitable for my application although supposedly compatible. Returned without problems.

Shifty shifter in Parts

Installation wasn't as easy as it seemed. The operation takes a little getting used to. Not super fancy and a bit quirky but does what it's supposed to.

substitute for us.

Our muscle car came with one. We exchanged it due to wear and tear. We assume that the previous owner abused it. Great feeling of the automatic transmission. Gives you a standard feel.

The switch itself is great and comes with everything you need

The switch itself is great and comes with everything you need. But the cover and the surroundings are nothing but cheap junk. I don't know why they don't try harder. Certainly not building plastic waste into a very expressive classic car.
