Best value for money weight distribution hitch

It was very easy to install. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. You just need to have a tape measure. Very happy with the performance of this attachment. Eliminate sway and weight distribution for safer towing. Used on 2017 Nissan Titan and Jayco x22n.

Quiet and Functional

The coupler and materials are top notch but the bars are VERY difficult to connect and disconnect. Husky offers a multi-function lever for using bars in and out of bar positioners (L-brackets), but this task is best left to stronger individuals. Hitch performance is excellent and there's really no noise, squeaks, etc. Passing articulated lorries don't push the trailer like other WDHs I've had. A very good product although the connect/disconnect process is a little intimidating.

  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons

Works well but plan to upgrade.

This hitch was purchased for our 28ft 5500lb travel trailer. I use it to tow our camper with my 17 ton Silverado. So far the clutch function is fine. It levels the stacker and provides some resistance to sway. The trailer will do a little dancing when the semifinals begin, but stop immediately. My complaint about the hitch is over. It's already showing signs of rusting and peeling, particularly in the places where you loosen the spring bars. Mind you, this trailer hitch is only a few months old

works great against wobbling.

I can only recommend this device. I used to have a setup that used bars with chains and it works 100x better. I am towing a 23 foot camper that weighs 4500 pounds. empty, with a Chevy Colorado rated for a 7,000-pound towing capacity. With the old block I was pissed all the time I drove as you could feel a lot of impact with the camper but with the Husky Center Line TS I was able to cruise at freeway speeds and the camper drove like a dream. I felt no impact and felt a lot more comfortable and…

Works well, installation was a bit difficult and noisy

Failed a few times and it works very well. It's loud and I'm starting to smudge a few dots as I move forward. I know all WD couplers are loud, but in the park I never hear anyone as loud as mine. The hardest part for me was finding the right angle for the hitch ball. The instructions say to use 2 washers for 4" and 5" frames and 3 washers for 6", 7" and 8" frames. Well my trailer's frame is 6" but the ball bearing A- Frame is 5". I assumed they were referring to the trailer frame and added 3…

Best weight distribution and pendulum control for the price!

When I bought my new caravan, I also needed a new counterweight and sway controller. My old unit used separate components for distribution and sway control, but the Husky Center Line TS is a complete solution that works very well. Installation wasn't quick, but the instructions were easy and I was able to get it right the first time. This unit rocks much better than my old unit and I'm glad I didn't carry it over to my new caravan. The quality and workmanship is great, it is easy to connect…

The packaging was unacceptable.

The finish looks great. The clutch is very strong and I'm sure it will do its job very well. Nicely done. There are no complaints. Here are the reasons for less than 5 stars. Very poorly packaged to carry such a heavy item. The box was delivered disassembled. There were quite a few pieces that fell out and were stuffed back and then sealed with tape. A real mess. Aps stayed behind to make sure everything was in place. Luckily it did. Also when ordering a clutch for a specific vehicle you will…

quality problem.

The seller initially sent the wrong bars but quickly delivered the correct ones. It was great and well done. Just recently I went to remove the bars and one of the hangers holding the weight distribution bar broke, I was surprised. Very little use, I'd say we've done 2000-3000 miles. The shackle shows very little wear, but if you know the metal, the metal may have been too cold when bent ninety degrees, causing a cold look in the bend, which in this case weakens the metal significantly. Probably the best WDH for the money

This really helped raise the rear of my SUV by balancing the weight and improving handling and pendulum control. I don't have a particularly heavy trailer weight, only about 400 pounds, but it lowered the rear 2 inches and raised the front of my SUV 1 inch, which caused a major wobble problem, and although I was able to steer it just about the lateral stability of the stabilizer bar, the rocked Husky WDH over bumps and potholes and rocked much better overall! When I first saw this 100-pound…
