I have built many gears that use 4mm long machine threads. I had to place an attachment, they are perfect. many different lengths, I'm happy with that.

I'm not sure what you would use long spacers for as dowels are not usually sunk that deep even when tiling the surrounding area. But you could trim them down and use them as shorter ones I suppose. Nice collection though.

If you have switches or outlets that aren't flush with the wall (so the covers keep breaking when you screw them in, or there's a gap around your plugs/switches), this is your problem Solution. The range is pretty wide, so it shouldn't matter how big the notch is.

I often use spacers in my electronic projects and prefer to use aluminum especially when they are needed to mount a stepper motor or similar. The problem is I need to keep a stack of these on hand and a stack of aluminum spacers can be expensive. They cost very well and I can use them for the installation so I can just buy the aluminum spacers I need and not just have them laying around. If you use spacers for your prototypes or lighting projects, they come in very handy.
