Excellent Filament for Industrial 3D Printing

This filament is a game changer for anyone looking for quality and performance. It prints with ease, produces highly detailed prints, and has excellent strength. The only downside is that it may be a bit more expensive than other options on the market. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for industrial and scientific 3D printing supplies.

Pros
  • High quality and reliable printing results
Cons
  • Might break easily under stress or pressure during printing

HOT and SLOW for PLA but looks nice

PLA is a bit awkward to use. I was able to get it up and running reliably after about 6 hours of setup. I ended up with a nozzle temp of 230°C (very high, possibly a hardware issue with my prusa i3 mk3), bed temp of 60°C, retraction of 3mm at 60mm/s, first layer speed of 10mm/s, Outer circumference 30 mm/s and filling 45 mm/s. Speed. SLOW and HOT for PLA. The good news is that it has a good finish and the red color looks great. I bought QTY5, 2kg spools in different colors from IC3D PLA and all

Pros
  • Recommended nozzle temperature: 190-240°C - depends on 3D printer type, print speed and environmental conditions
Cons
  • Only available in white

I have several brands of 1.75mm PLA filament Tried it out and this one was by far the most reliable. With other brands (mostly Chinese junk sold at premium prices - some even claim they are made in the USA) I would have a lot of problems, the worst of which is that the PLA is knotting - this causes the filament to either break or shred in the extruder as it cannot be fed from the spool.I have now used over 75% of the IC3D spool and have had no problems with the way how this material is…

Pros
  • Thread diameter: 1.75mm (dimensional accuracy +/- 0.05mm)
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly
