Works great on Win 10, but not so well on Win 7

What a bumpy road to install Partly my fault and partly Windows7. I thought I didn't get the driver CD. And without a working adapter, I had no internet access. chicken and egg. After a long search I finally found the CD among the papers. The CD is quite small and easy to miss. After finding the CD, I downloaded the adapter driver and utility. Unfortunately I could not get the adapter to work on Windows 7. (I've tried many things. Googling, not only I had the problem. But I read somewhere that…

Inexpensive, reliable, fast!

So I was a big hater of anything wireless. I would put gigabit switches throughout the house and use Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. I had multiple devices such as media players, gaming consoles, laptops, tablets, smartphones, you name it. When we moved to a new location it wasn't possible/realistic to use cables so I switched. Most devices were already connected to Wi-Fi at this point, like my game console, laptop, etc. The only thing I kept connected was my file server/virtualization machine. But when

Great wifi adapter for 6 year old computer

Now that the Inamax wifi adapter is up and running, using 5G is amazing and much faster. To get to this point, Amy from Inamax customer service helped me tremendously. At first it helped to use the google search engine and I just downloaded the zip file. I had trouble downloading the driver because I didn't follow the instructions on T. Everyone helped me through the whole process and everything went quickly from there. Some of their tips may also help you: Open this link in your browser (this…

Works great, easy to install and use

Works great. I received it and hooked it up to my computer and it worked with no issues or problems. I haven't run any complex tests like range or data rates, but it works fine in my application - and that's all I care about. there was a problem. I like that it's USB 3.0 because I know USB speed will never limit data transfer speed. All in all a good product, easy to use.

Quickly . Really fast. bought the 2nd and now a 3rd

Thing is fast. I'm consistently getting test results for download/upload speeds in excess of 220Mbps on a heavily loaded 1Gbps fiber service. Now consider buying one for an aging laptop without an 801.11ac wireless card to give it a few more years of life. This device arrived quickly and installed without downloading any drivers for Windows 10. Update: July 3, 2018 After being happy with the first adapter, I bought a second adapter for my old Windows 7 laptop to replace the internal Wi-Fi…

Fast, powerful and cheap!

This is a great adapter to connect your PC to the internet via our wireless router. We upgraded our router to AC1200 speed, which is much faster than my old router. Sure, my old computer couldn't keep up with the speed of my new router, but it definitely can now that we've added this plug-and-play wireless adapter. Aside from the faster connection speed, it's also more stable as the antennas on this thing are huge so it now stays connected all the time. High speed internet is so appreciated! I…

Windows 10, plug and play, 2.4GHz and 5GHz support

At a glance: This wireless adapter worked right out of the box. I connected it to a Windows 10 computer and had no problems connecting to my Asus RT-N66U router. I can connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. Long story (in case it helps anyone else with my old adapter): I've used a Qualcomm Atheros AR938x Wi-Fi adapter in Windows 7 for years with no problems. However, Microsoft's forced update to Windows 10 caused problems with my GFX card (constant crashes) and, as I found out, with my WiFi…

I would buy again!

First, I used a slower wireless USB adapter here because I've been using it for a long time. I didn't include any pictures of the PowerLine adapter because I was just too lazy. Also, please excuse my grammar. xDI was dealing with internet speeds that weren't up to my personal standards, so I really wanted something new and faster. Things have changed since my apartment building recently gave up that crappy CenturyLink DSL (8 down/.5 up) and got a Spectrum (100 down/10 up not counting the…
