Excellent customer service

I received this item very quickly. I like the concept of this article. Everything worked for about 2 weeks, then the card reader stopped working. At first I thought maybe it was because it was getting hot, so I unplugged it and waited a few days to try again. I couldn't get the SD card reader to work at all. The USB hubs work as does the micro SD card reader, but the SD card reader no longer works and that was one of the main reasons I bought this item. Update: The customer service from thisโ€ฆ

Perhaps red would be better off avoiding any "bright " light question in dark rooms.

Hub/adapter works well. I believe the blue LED is for low light use. Perhaps red would have been better to avoid "bright" light problems in darkened rooms (e.g. red-eye fly. Pun intentional). I gave this product four stars because of the 30cm cable which makes the hub/adapter a bit awkward to use. I'd rather have a USB-C port on the back edge of the hub so it connects flush to the computer (sold by others for a similar price). UPDATED: I have changed my rating to three stars and am returningโ€ฆ

Best Adapter for Mac Book Pros

I have seen several adapters of this type but now I think this is one of the best. Ideal for notebooks. If you have a new Mac Book Pro, yes. You had to come up with something fast for your USB devices. Offers you 4 USB ports. 3 of them are for USB 3.0 which is great and the other 2 are Micro SD card slots which is good because of my cameras. Also very inexpensive. Even allows me to use my capture card to stream, unlike another adapter I have that doesn't work. My only mistake. It has a micro SD

Buy it. no error

I have a new Macbook with two USB Type-C ports. In order for my MacBook to work with older USB devices, I need a USB Type-C hub. Before that, I bought a USB-C hub. 1st has a small connection problem. This is the second USB-C hub I've bought. I was impressed with the versatile features of this USB-C hub. I After testing a few days during Memorial Day season, I have to rate it more than 5 stars. In one setup I connect a USB mouse, a printer and an iPhone 6plus with 3 USB ports, an SD card and aโ€ฆ

Pretty disappointing so far. but the support solved the problem.

Updated original post: Apparently I didn't have a suitable power supply for this device. I had several, but none of them provided the exact amperage to meet my needs. With the help of very friendly and enthusiastic tech support people they sent a link to something they recommended would work and for another $9 I was able to get a power supply that works great and now it works with external USB devices so far without problems. . If this changes I will update this. I have changed the rating to 4โ€ฆ

Ok but you need to read the description to understand what you are getting.

I bought this to put on my computer desk so I don't have to connect external drives or other USB accessories to my desk (which ironically is under my desk). It will suit your needs if you carefully read what is included. Pros: - Works well and I've tested it and it connects easily and powers two external drives and one SD card at the same time. (There are 3 USB ports, but I only tested 2 and one SD card at a time) - I particularly like the SD card reader, which is spring-loaded like on my DSLR.
