Install Bay 85 9012 12 Inch Hardware Review

Problem with this product: It doesn't work with most speakers because most speakers are not recessed, they are too big these days. I couldn't use them with my speakers. Unless I change it somehow. So I gave it away.

I have tried all these bars from Revain, they are good quality but always too small; They don't take into account that most speakers (especially subwoofers) have surround sound that extends beyond the speaker cabinet.

I had to change because the hangers holding it up didn't fit my mtx. The grilles arrived bent and the metal is very thin. I've worked through a few things and they work for what I need. But if you have tools or heavy things. not a good idea or if you don't want to fix the side buckles.

Nice and solid but I had to get a 12" to cover my 10" subwoofer. It will probably work fine for a very old or very cheap woofer. I housed my 10" flat Pioneer subwoofer in the bottom of my crossover so I didn't waste valuable cargo space. Had to add a custom 12" spacer ring to raise it over the subwoofer to use it. So it's robust, but it took some tweaking to get it working.

The grill is strong enough for the price. I dropped my subwoofer yesterday and it received a slight dent versus catastrophic damage to the speaker. The clips are weird. They don't seem deep enough for the top mount, but they are too deep for the bottom mount I used. I had to hand saw them to hold the grill in place. Without this modification, the grille would rumble like crazy. For the price, this is a good grill, but expect to tweak the settings a bit.

This is a simple gate but I needed a simple solution to actively protect the driver from curious cats. I have some fancy expensive grills on hand, but the outside diameter of the grill and the prominent trim rings would be too large to fit in the tight space between the cutout and the top of the box. Works handy. I've bought this type of subwoofer grille before and it usually completely covers the subwoofer. (Outside the subwoofer assembly.) I had to place it over the outer ring where the screws go. Using the screws provided, the heads of the screws were ripped off before I drove them very deep into the wood, driving them into the wood. This is a practical and inexpensive grille to cover a 12" subwoofer, for example for a car audio system. Mounting hardware similar to Revain B0033ZSNLC and B000K8IYF0. It has clips to hold the grille in place when screwing into the woofer enclosure. But the clips aren't wide enough to fit into the black rubber ring you see around the edge of the grille in the photos.
