Disintegrating, very dull

This punch is very dull and barely cuts through paper. It is also difficult to press and requires considerable force. I was expecting it to do the simple job it's supposed to do, but it doesn't.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Compatibility

When it works it's great

When it works right on fabric/vinyl it's great and you can punch a lot of holes. In most cases, it doesn't punch all the way through the hole, and cleaning the tip doesn't usually help. It's like the metal pieces don't quite fit and grind when hit. make it hard

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Ideal for bag makers

I use this adjustable Japanese rivet hole punch when sewing bags. This simplifies the job, much easier than using a hammer and riveting tool. It has holes for cutting holes of different sizes, so it is convenient for marking pattern details and can be used with both fabric and faux leather. He used some WD40 to make sliding the abs even easier.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Hard to say

It could be better. best hole punch ever

This was perfect for the different hole sizes I needed for lacing cards. When it worked well, it was great. Unfortunately, the paper holes in the tip get clogged and you have to stop, remove the tip, insert a small screwdriver into the tip, and use a lot of force to pry the paper hole bits out. It puts a strain on the joints and didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good

This did the job I needed. Done

I used this to punch 14 holes in a sheet of 1/8 inch neoprene rubber. the tips don't seem to be particularly sharp instructions are only in chinese i had to lubricate the focuser mechanism several times with lithium grease otherwise it started to stick. Doesn't bode well for longevity. The price is very low. I feel like I've already got my money back.

  • Stylish and modern design

Doesn't work best with hand tools

I bought this hole punch to make holes in text and betting paper covers. I returned it for a refund because it didn't punch through a single sheet of paper without re-perforating, which inevitably became inconsistent. When he finally made the hole, the paper got stuck in the bat, so I had to take it apart and pry out the scraps of paper with a paperclip. I can't tell if there are specific instructions for this as they are all in Japanese. I can read five languages, including Chinese, but…

Not suitable for paper.?

I bought this because I'm trying to make booklets with a binder. The punching was not stable on normal copy paper. I tried punching through three sheets of carbon paper at once; I placed three sheets of carbon paper on a piece of cardboard on a cutting mat. I've tried that with a sheet of paper. Many of my shot attempts didn't come out clean and I had to repeat the same hole multiple times. Japanese packaging. I used google translate to read the packaging to see if I did anything wrong. The…

gave me a bruise on my hand tools

I'm a bookbinder so I thought a hole punch would be the perfect tool for my toolbox. It was one of the most popular options and also a seemingly cheap option so I figured it would be fine, especially for my first experience with it. So far it's been pretty bad. I can't tell if the high resistance is normal or not, but I can say for sure that it shouldn't stick when I press it halfway down until I twist it by hand. Right after a day of use, I noticed a bruise on my palm from the force I was…

Love this punch set

This punch set gets used more than I thought when I bought it. It works well with little effort. The range of hole sizes makes this set an essential tool when you need different sized holes for a variety of stitches, buttons and eyelets. This hole punch made clean sharp holes, I have no complaints. Handy and cared for in my small workshop. I bought this tool in November 2020 and have been using it almost daily ever since. He perforates the paper and the criterion. The trick I learned is that…
